MIXED MEDIA
This course is designed to give students a wide variety of art making experiences and allows them to continue to explore various visual art forms and techniques through the elements and principles of art and design. Students will learn skills and techniques associated with a variety of art media. Emphasis is placed on the elements of art, colour, mood, texture and composition.

Your art style should reflect the inner voice you hear as an artist. Do you prefer delicate, muted tones or bright, bold splashes of colour? Do you feel passionate about bringing awareness to the environment or another worthy cause? How do you want to portray your ideas onto canvas or paper?

Tips to overcoming creative blocks.
We all have experienced it. The fear of staring at a blank page, a bare canvas or an empty screen due to creative fatigue is real, yet it happens to everybody. It is not uncommon to feel drained and uninspired, especially at times like these. I am going through some of the creative blocks I sometimes experience and I share with you how I overcome them.

We all have experienced it. The fear of staring at a blank page, a bare canvas or an empty screen due to creative fatigue is real, yet it happens to everybody. It is not uncommon to feel drained and uninspired, especially at times like these. I am going through some of the creative blocks I sometimes experience and I share with you how I overcome them.
At some point in my life I had a regular office job and eventually a bore out. I saved myself quitting it and retreating into Hindu and Buddhist philosophy. A 2 year stay in an Ashram followed. This altered not just my worldview and my beliefs but also influenced the way I express myself in art.
