Through my courses I encourage an exploratory and open ended approach to any medium, its effects and creative potential in relation to experiences and interests of the individual student. I teach the students tools to gain skills in different materials to come up with their own creative ideas across media.

What students say

Barbara Z.

Ana’s Mixed Media online course is really second to none in terms of depth and abundance of content. There is so much inspiring information packed in the course that it will keep me inspired in my artistic journey for many months to come.

Marina Rhein

I was a bit worried first but I found Ana’s course very well suited for beginners like me. the structure of the course and the teaching style is such that even if you already are a more experienced artist, a “beginners mind” is of great benefit. I am certain that anybody can learn something new from this fantastic course.

Debbie Row

Ana’s very clear and simple to follow instructions, tips and guidance for self-reflection enabled me to create my own artworks easily and in a playful and explorative way. I am very glad I took the course as it opened new creative horizons for me.

Lea Olivo

The courses are very well explained. Ana is a very generous teacher, she gives a lot of tips and describes in details all the painting steps and so much more. I recommend the courses to everyone who want to learn and also deepen the connection with yourself through art.

Debbie Lucas

Thank you so much, Ana. This course helped me to get motivated again when I was feeling in a bit of a stuck place. I really enjoyed the process and equally enjoyed the finished product.

Lara

I followed one of Ana's course (resine with geodes) at Paintevent in Zurich. For a complete novice like me I found it very easy to follow her instructions. She was reassuring and encouraging us to follow our intuition in terms of colour and placement whilst still giving valuable recommendations. Strongly recommend.

ANA PAZ

Ana is an experienced art teacher and guide, teaching art classes regularly in Zurich/ Switzerland, hosting workshops in her studio in Appenzell/ Switzerland and guiding art retreats internationally. Her approach is holistic, as she realised after many years as an art teacher that learning techniques alone does not suffice to progress on the artistic path. During her teachings, workshops and retreats, she is therefore also focusing on challenging her students art related beliefs and how to transform them to fully embody their inner artist.
